osobAuburn Elementary School reads "The Adventures of a South Pole Pig" by Chris Kurtz

See the reading schedule below- you should be able to save the image to your phone/device!

We are excited to invite you to participate in our Annual One School, One Book at AES. Our entire school will form a community book club during the month of January and into February. Each family is receiving a copy of The Adventures of a South Pole Pig to read as a family at home. This book is for your family to keep.

Daily trivia questions will be asked based on the previous night's reading. We hope your family will follow the reading schedule and make time to read this book together. If your family gets behind in reading, please don't worry. Read at your own pace. Our goal is for families to enjoy read-aloud time together. We hope reading becomes or continues to be a habit in your home. We hope this entertaining story sparks conversations at home, on the bus, and at school.

If school happens to close for inclement weather, we will still stick to the reading schedule!

On February 27th we will have an evening book celebration. Please look for additional information, which will be sent home later!

Happy reading!!
