The Auburn Elementary School Physical Education Program is a program that is based on the Virginia Standards of Learning and gives students the opportunity to learn lifetime activities. Our goal is to have our students be able to demonstrate various skills of sports, concepts of games, and the benefits of an active lifestyle. Our program is led by Physical Education Teachers, but invites the creativity and ideas of individual students, as well as classes of our student body. Our hopes are that we connect with each student and supply an understanding that physical activity makes a healthier heart, mind and body. Every child is a winner in physical education at Auburn Elementary.
