If you are interested in trying out for the BHS Golf Team, you must have a current VHSL physical (dated on or after May 1, 2025) on file with the BHS AD by July 25, 2025 in order to participate in the fall.
Participants should have their own set of golf clubs, a working knowledge of the game of golf and be able to play 18 holes.
Tryouts will be held on July 28 at 1:00 pm at Blacksburg Country Club. Please contact Coach Mattox at 540-557-7619 or Coach Henderson at rhenderson@mcps.org for additional information.
The Lanto Junior Tour Golf Tournament is being held on Monday, July 28 at Olde Mill Golf Resort. If you are eligible to participate in this tournament, you can do so in lieu of the golf tryouts at 1:00 pm at the Blacksburg Country Club.
This tournament takes precedence over tryouts, so you will not be penalized for missing tryouts. If you want to play in this event, go to https://www.golfgenius.com/pages/11393211388492007717 and select your name from the list to register.
